Welding Tent

Welding Tents, or Portable Welding Shelters, serve two main purposes:

 

Firstly to protect other's eyes from the Welding Arc, which of course can be very damaging. This allows the welder to go about their work without worrying about the adverse affect it could have on others in the area.

Secondly, using a welding tent outdoors will prevent the wind from interrupting the welding process and without blowing away the essential inert gases. Without a shelter, the weld can be inconsistent and ineffective.
